La Tierra es un planeta de agua, puesto que dos terceras partes de su superficie est\u00e1n cubiertas con agua. Lo mismo ocurre con nuestros cuerpos, y si no llenamos regularmente nuestra \u201creserva corporal\u201d con agua pura, despu\u00e9s de una semana como m\u00e1ximo ya no estaremos vivos. Las aguas del mundo est\u00e1n masivamente contaminadas por desechos (industriales) pesticidas, y fertilizantes, la contaminaci\u00f3n electromagn\u00e9tica (\u00faltimamente <a href=\"https:\/\/www.naturalscience.org\/es\/news\/2022\/02\/aun-mas-radiacion-la-radio-movil-ahora-tambien-bajo-el-agua-y-en-el-espacio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">incluso bajo el agua<\/a>), residuos de medicamentos o incluso pl\u00e1stico. Los micropl\u00e1sticos (pl\u00e1sticos con un tama\u00f1o menor de 5 mil\u00edmetros) en particular se est\u00e1n convirtiendo cada vez m\u00e1s en un problema. Los micropl\u00e1sticos procedentes, por ejemplo, no s\u00f3lo de la abrasi\u00f3n de los neum\u00e1ticos de los veh\u00edculos, de fibras sint\u00e9ticas de la ropa, que llegan al medioambiente directamente o durante el lavado, de colillas de cigarrillos, de peque\u00f1as part\u00edculas de pl\u00e1stico, por ejemplo en productos cosm\u00e9ticos, crema dental, o exfoliantes, sino tambi\u00e9n cuando los pl\u00e1sticos se descomponen en el medioambiente. Finalmente, las part\u00edculas micropl\u00e1sticas llegan a los oc\u00e9anos, donde ya hay m\u00e1s de 5 billones de min\u00fasculas part\u00edculas flotando sobre la superficie del agua.<\/p>\n<p>Cada persona en el planeta produce alrededor de un kilo de micropl\u00e1stico al a\u00f1o. Esto hace que los micropl\u00e1sticos est\u00e9n presentes hoy en d\u00eda, pr\u00e1cticamente en todas partes, ya sea en el agua potable, en el suelo o incluso en nuestros alimentos. De hecho, al tomar s\u00f3lo agua de botellas de pl\u00e1stico, est\u00e1 tomando una cantidad adicional de 90.000 part\u00edculas micropl\u00e1sticas a su cuerpo cada a\u00f1o &#8211; en otras palabras, casi 45 tarjetas de cr\u00e9dito m\u00e1s. Los estudios demuestran que el agua potable embotellada contiene casi el doble de la cantidad de micropl\u00e1sticos que el agua del grifo. Sin embargo las diferencias entre los productos individuales son enormes. De todas las aguas minerales probadas, Nestl\u00e9 Pura Vida conten\u00eda 10.390 micropart\u00edculas por litro. Las pruebas r\u00e1pidas, la ropa de protecci\u00f3n, los guantes desechables, los desinfectantes, producen cientos de miles de cantidades adicionales de desechos que rara vez son eliminados adecuadamente. Esto sucede particularmente con la mascarillas que generalmente son fabricadas con una o m\u00e1s capas de pl\u00e1stico, generalmente de polipropileno de muy larga duraci\u00f3n. Alrededor de 129.000 millones de mascarillas se usan mundialmente cada mes &#8211;&nbsp;\u00a1alrededor de tres millones cada minuto! Esto significa que la producci\u00f3n de mascarillas desechables ahora ha alcanzado proporciones similares a las de las botellas y bolsas de pl\u00e1stico.
