Sie lernen durch Beobachtung, handeln vorausschauend, nutzen Werkzeuge und k\u00f6nnen menschliche Gesichter unterscheiden. Sie sind sogar f\u00e4hig, aus zugeschraubten Gl\u00e4sern zu entkommen, finden aus komplexen Labyrinthen heraus und bewerfen Artgenossen auch mal mit Schlamm und Muscheln. Das zeugt m\u00f6glicherweise sogar von einem Sinn f\u00fcr Humor\u2026! Wie mehr als 300 wissenschaftliche Studien belegen, sind Kraken f\u00fchlende Wesen, die in der Lage sind, Schmerz und Vergn\u00fcgen zu empfinden.<\/p>\n<p>Tintenfische gab es fr\u00fcher etwa vor den K\u00fcsten Spaniens in solcher F\u00fclle, dass sie ein Arme-Leute-Essen waren. Heute werden sie immer mehr zur beliebten und lukrativen Spezialit\u00e4t. 17 bis 30 Euro pro Kilo kosten die beliebtesten Arten aus dem Atlantik auf dem Fischmarkt oder im Supermarkt. So will der Konzern Nueva Pescanova noch dieses Jahr die erste Oktopus-Farm der Welt auf Gran Canaria er\u00f6ffnen. Die geplante Aufzucht in permanent beleuchteten Tanks mit je 10-15 Tieren in lediglich einem Kubikmeter Wasser ist f\u00fcr die intelligenten Meerestiere eine Qual. Besonders grausam ist die Art und Weise, wie die Tiere get\u00f6tet werden sollen, n\u00e4mlich indem man sie in ein Becken mit minus drei Grad kaltem Wasser wirft.
