The ecosystem of the sea is in serious danger due to the manifold damaging activities of man, such as pollution or overfishing. In order to be able to recover there is an urgent need for the establishment of international marine reserve and conservation zones.

The World Foundation for Natural Science demands that one third of all the oceans is not fished in any way or used for any commercial means for a minimum of ten years, so that they can recover and re-establish their natural balance.

We are writing to authorities and governments to make them aware of the urgency of such marine reserve and conversation zones and support initiatives, people, and organizations who are directly or indirectly involved in any projects regarding marine reserve and conversation zones. .
